This page is dedicated to share referrals from other organizations that can assist with immigration matters.

Due to recent funding reductions, AACF is currently unable to provide direct immigration legal services. At this time, we are offering referrals to trusted partner organizations that can assist with immigration-related questions, applications, and legal support.

This page is dedicated to connecting community members with external organizations that provide immigration services, including legal consultations, application assistance, and general guidance. Many of these organizations offer services in multiple languages and may provide support at low or no cost depending on eligibility.

If you previously received assistance from AACF for your immigration case, you are still welcome to reach out to our team with any questions or for guidance on next steps. We will do our best to support you and connect you with appropriate resources.

Washington Lawyers’ Committee

Works alongside local immigrant communities in response to an array of legal problems, seeking to protect the civil rights of all families. For workers that would like to receive legal advice regarding work-related problems, the Washington Lawyers’ Committee holds a Workers’ Rights Clinic. The clinic provides advice on all areas of employment law.

Refugee Welcoming Coalition of Frederick

The Refugee Welcoming Coalition of Frederick (RWC) is an alliance of faith communities based in Frederick, Maryland whose mission is to empower refugees and asylum seekers with dignity, to help them become self-sufficient, contributing members of the community.

Formed in September 2021, members of the Frederick, Maryland community saw a need to support the high volume of refugees arriving to the United States. The RWC helps refugees transition to life in the Frederick area by preparing their homes with donated furniture and household items, providing assistance with accessing vital resources, and helping families receive ESL classes and tutoring.

Asian American Center of Frederick is RWC’s fiscal sponsor and Elizabeth Chung is one of its founding members.
